HOW CAN YOU IMPROVE YOUR ORGANIZATION’S MANAGERIAL EFFICIENCY?
Leading garment manufacturers and exporters from Tirupur were making a leaping stride in their business. However, the most worrying factor before the management was its wobbly HR strategy. The nagging question among the top management was whether the existing systems could successfully manage and train its staff and workers in the expanding business scenario. The need of the hour was to have a well-defined HR policy in place, and the management took a plunge to revisit its existing systems and re-haul its HR practices.
After carefully studying the needs and the problems, Excite, the growth partner, framed the complete organization structure along with a training program for the top management, which created an apt atmosphere in the organization to impart the knowledge on the importance of systems.
The intervention was conducted in a phased manner, and in the third phase, competency mapping and skill gap analysis were done for all employees. So it was in this order: intellectual, personal, communication, interpersonal and leadership. This helped the company to identify the training needs and design a recruitment policy.
Alongside this, Key Performance Indicators and Key Performance Appraisal were drafted, allowing the company to monitor and evaluate the performance of each employee.
At the end of the intervention process, a detailed HR policy was in place at the company that comprised wage and salary structure, leave policy, reporting, appraisals, clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures, rewards and recognition.
As a result of a highly structured HR system, the team roles became very clear following the Vision building & alignment of the vision towards massive growth for the company.
